Darts on TV: Where to Watch Every Event in the UK, USA, Pakistan, India and More

Finding the darts on TV is easy in the UK and surprisingly confusing everywhere else. This guide explains who shows which events, how to stream them if you live outside Britain, and — the part most guides skip — what time the darts actually starts in your country.

Darts on TV in the UK

Sky Sports is the home of PDC darts in the UK. Its coverage includes every night of the Premier League, plus the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship. If you do not want a full Sky subscription, Sky’s sport is also available through NOW, which you can take month by month.

Some PDC events have been shown on free-to-air or other channels in past seasons, and UK rights for individual tournaments can change from year to year. That is why each event in our schedule lists its UK broadcaster separately, and why we mark it “TBC” until it is confirmed rather than guessing.

Players Championship events and the European Tour are not usually on traditional TV. They are streamed on PDCTV, the PDC’s own streaming service.

Darts on TV outside the UK

The PDC sells TV rights country by country, and those deals change regularly. The safest approach is:

1. Check PDCTV first. In countries without a local TV deal, a PDCTV international subscription typically gives you live coverage of the televised events as well as the floor events.
2. Look for a local sports broadcaster. In parts of Europe, darts has major TV partners. Germany and the Netherlands in particular have big darts audiences and dedicated coverage.
3. Avoid unofficial streams. They are unreliable, often packed with malware and do nothing to support the sport.

Darts on TV in Pakistan

Pakistan has no widely known local TV deal for PDC darts, so most fans watch through PDCTV’s international service. The bigger challenge is the time difference: Pakistan is five hours ahead of the UK in winter, so a 19:00 UK evening session starts at midnight in Lahore and Karachi.

Darts on TV in India

The same applies in India: PDCTV is the most reliable option. Indian Standard Time is five and a half hours ahead of UK winter time, so evening sessions begin at 00:30.

Darts on TV in the USA and Canada

North American streaming rights have moved between services over recent seasons. Check PDCTV’s availability in your region before signing up elsewhere. The PDC keeps an up-to-date list of broadcasters on its official where to watch darts page. The good news is the timing: a 19:00 UK session is 14:00 on the East Coast and 11:00 on the West Coast in winter, which makes darts very watchable in the US.

Darts on TV in Australia and New Zealand

Evening sessions in the UK land early in the morning down under — 06:00 in Sydney during the Australian summer. Afternoon sessions are a late-night watch instead.

What time does the darts start? (time zone table)

Most PDC events use similar session times: afternoon sessions around 12:30–13:00 and evening sessions at 19:00 UK time. Remember that the UK switches between GMT (winter) and BST (summer), and many countries do not change on the same dates — or at all.

The summer column assumes both countries are on summer time where they use it. For the few weeks in spring and autumn when clocks change on different dates, the gap can be an hour off — which is exactly why every event on this site shows the start time worked out for your own device.
