Darts schedule 2027: PDC Majors and TV events

The World Darts Championship always closes the year, but its exact 2027/28 dates had not been confirmed when the calendar was released. We will add them as soon as they are announced. For this season’s event, see our World Championship 2026/27 schedule.

The new European Open

The headline addition is the European Open, a new televised ranking Major in Salzburg from 18 to 20 June. With a £750,000 prize fund, it sits alongside events such as the World Grand Prix and Players Championship Finals in value. It is played in the week after the World Cup of Darts, giving central Europe a Major of its own in the first half of the year.

Premier League 2027: all 17 nights

Every Premier League night is on a Thursday and live on Sky Sports in the UK.

European Tour 2027: 15 events

The PDC confirmed the dates and host cities for all 15 European Tour events; the sponsored tournament names are usually announced later. Liévin is the first European Tour stop in France, and Ghent hosts for Belgium. Prize money from these events decides who qualifies for the European Championship in October.

Darts schedule 2027: Players Championship dates

There are 34 Players Championship events again, played as midweek double-headers. They are streamed on PDCTV rather than shown on traditional TV.

Darts schedule 2027: Women’s Series

The 24 Women’s Series events are played over six weekends, four events per weekend:

• Events 1–4: 6–7 February, Milton Keynes
• Events 5–8: 13–14 March, Leicester
• Events 9–12: 15–16 May, Hildesheim, Germany
• Events 13–16: 26–27 June, Den Bosch, Netherlands
• Events 17–20: 21–22 August, Leicester
• Events 21–24: 9–10 October, Leicester

The Women’s World Matchplay is in Blackpool on 25 July, the final day of the World Matchplay.

Other key changes compared with 2026

• European Championship: grows from four days (22–25 October 2026) to six (26–31 October 2027), with the prize fund rising from £750,000 to £1 million.

• World Series Finals: stays in Amsterdam, 16–19 September.
